As a top specialty services contractor, we always emphasize safety as the cornerstone of execution excellence, and while we all work toward the goal of “zero injuries”, some sites and regions take this focus to a higher level. I want to give special recognition to Brock Canada for achieving ten months without a recordable incident. Across the entire region, including sites both large and small, our Canadian team has reached more than 2.2 million safe hours, setting a high bar for our company. Congratulations to Brock Canada for “Helping Everyone Reach Zero”.

The Brock leadership team and I are in the midst of a series of town halls in each of our operating units and regions. In these sessions, we’re sharing our common vision for Brock and updates on our business and markets, but most importantly, we spend the majority of time in an open forum, answering questions from both office and field team members.

The engagement and support from our employees is impressive. Turnout has been strong, and the questions raised clearly highlight how our culture of safety and continuous improvement, under the banners of Bsafe and Bbest, are having a real impact on how we take care of our customers and each other.

I’m a strong proponent of face-to-face interaction, for myself and everyone at Brock. Customers and employees are at the core of our business, and engaging with either group means getting out of the office and into the field. Meeting with employees is energizing, and I look forward to talking with as many Brock team members as possible in the remaining town halls.
