In a previous posting, I shared what a privilege it is for me to go to our many sites and talk with our incredible employees. I’d like to introduce another outstanding member of our team – Supervisor of the Year John Lindley.

John joined Miken, later acquired by Brock, 18 years ago as a scaffold helper at the Dow Freeport Plant A facility and today serves as Supervisor there. Over the course of almost two decades with Brock at Dow Freeport, John’s contributions and leadership have been instrumental in achieving a stellar safety record for Plant A.

In addition to safety performance, Plant A has received Dow’s Golden Bucket Award, conferred on a contractor’s facility for achieving the highest grade during housekeeping audits performed by both Dow’s Managed Service Group and other peer contractors, three of the last four years. John’s efforts have been an important part of this achievement. He works closely with Dow, demonstrating his personal commitment and dedication to understanding our customer and aligning our work with Dow’s desired outcomes and success metrics.

John is the first Brock employee to receive the Supervisor of the Year award and I was honored to be able to present it to him. He serves as an example to all Brock employees and embodies our Bbest “Better Every Day” culture.
